In a recent announcement, SASO confirmed that regular Certificates of Conformity (CoCs) may still be issued outside of  the SABER platform and are accepted by the Saudi customs.

SASO also confirmed that all importers and exporters may still register their products on the SABER platform (https://saber.sa/) , launched on January 1st 2019, and proceed with the conformity assessment process related to their type of products:

• Regulated products (Products with Technical Regulations issued by the SASO), issuance of Product Certificate of Conformity (PCoC) and Shipment Certificates (SC)

• Non-Regulated products, issuance of self-Declaration of Conformity (sDoC) and Shipment Certificates (SC)
  It is to note that products under the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) technical regulation must be processed exclusively under the SABER platform.

Bureau Veritas provides the SASO Certificate service to verify the products according to the applicable standards.
