AGANOR has published a press release in Gabon confirming the implementation of the PROGEC since Febuary 20th, 2016. 

The related Certificate of Conformity is required for the import of three main products categories (see details on the downloadable datasheet):

- Machinery, Mechanical appliances, Electrical and electronic products
- Building products and Chemical products
- Medical devices, Body care & Health products, Toys

The programme is at its enforcement stage. Consignments arriving after May 20th, 2016 and not accompanied with the PROGEC Certificate will be subject to penalties.

Bureau Veritas has been appointed by the AGANOR for the implementation of this programme.
