Effective December 10th 2018, imports of refined red palm oil entering the DR of Congo territory in the western part are banned for a 12-month period to protect domestic industries and to fight against illegal imports by Ministerial Order n°062/CAB/MINETAT.COMEXT/2018.

Shipments of refined red palm oil entering the territory of Democratic Republic of Congo without prior authorisation will be destroyed or re-exported at infringer's costs.
